The Kethane drill has two small Kethane tanks and the converter has one, as soon as connected collectively all these tanks will fill at the same charge. When converting kethane (which you can start with action group eight) RCS will robotically fill the RCS tanks on the cargo lander. But Liquid and Oxidizer fuels should be pumped. The converter has an oscarB tank which it'll fill as it converts, attached to the tank is a TAC gas balancer device (which I call the gas pump). (unfortunately the entire operation shuts down whenever you go over 2.4km away)
